About us

Preparing people for heaven.

Equipping Place Ministries exists to win the lost, equip believers, and make Jesus famous until He returns. We believe God's desire is not simply to gather crowds but to reveal His glory to every people, every nation, and every generation — and everything we do exists to advance that purpose.

Our Foundation

“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”
Habakkuk 2:14

We believe God's desire is not simply to gather crowds but to reveal His glory to every people, every nation, and every generation.

Our Vision

“...that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine…”
Ephesians 4:14

Our desire is to see believers become rooted in Christ, steadfast in truth, and spiritually mature — prepared to stand firm until the return of Jesus.

Meet the Davids

Called to see lives changed and a generation prepared for Christ.

Equipping Place Ministries was founded by Sébastien and Jamie David out of a shared conviction that every person deserves to hear the Gospel and be prepared to meet Jesus Christ. Their hearts are to see the lost reached, believers equipped, the afflicted supported, and communities impacted for eternity.

Sébastien David

Sébastien's Story

Sébastien was born in New Jersey but calls Haiti home — from the mountaintops to the city, it shaped who he is. After moving to the States, he began dabbling in the occult, from attempting to open his third eye to using shrooms in search of something more.

God sent someone to meet him at a checkout line, and his life was completely transformed. The supernatural he was once seeking in all the wrong places has since become the norm — found instead in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

He attended the River School of Worship and served in the Outreach Department. His passion is for seeing people healed and set free, just as he has been.

Jamie's Story

Starting in East Cleveland, Ohio, Jamie's grandmother Mary fostered a deep love for the house of God from an early age — there were times she would walk to church from home. Junior usher board, children's choir, and praise dance were all part of growing up in the church.

Although she welcomed Jesus into her heart early on, it wasn't until God moved her to Maryland — and she had an encounter with His Holy Spirit — that she finally "figured out" how to live a sin-free life. Everything she'd learned as a child finally became doable.

She has a passion to see people's minds transformed by the Word of God, and His empowering presence to live it out.
