What the Devil Does Not Want You to Know
The devil has one real strategy left, and it isn’t power — it’s misinformation. He wants you to believe that what Jesus did in the Gospels, He can’t do anymore, that healing and deliverance were a first-century thing, and that you’re still waiting on a victory that was actually already won.
It’s already finished
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). If He was healing then, He’s healing now — nothing has changed except how many people have stopped expecting it. When Jesus said “it is finished” on the cross, He meant it. The work isn’t in progress; it’s done. What we do now isn’t trying to make something happen — it’s walking in what already happened.
The cross, not your effort, did the work
Old Testament Israel needed Moses to strike a rock and split a sea by his own action. The cross is the new covenant version of that same picture: Jesus has already made the way. You’re not trying to divide a sea that’s still standing in front of you — that sea has already been parted. Whatever stands between you and healing, freedom, or breakthrough has already been dealt with at Calvary.
You carry his authority now
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Scripture says believers are seated with Christ, and that means the enemy’s reach only goes as far as your feet — the position Jesus already put him in. He’s not fighting you from a position of strength; he’s a defeated foe hoping you never find out.
